The Bar Association Jharkhand High Court is functioning since 2000 and was registered under the Society Registration Act XXI of 1860 having Regd. no 185/2004.The same has been recognized by the State Bar Council of Jharkhand when Hon’ble Jharkhand High Court was functioning as Bar Council of the state in absence of elected body of the Bar Council.The EX Advocate General Md Sohail Anwar ,the Present Learned Advocate General Sri R.S.Mazumdar,The Jharkhand State Bar Council Chairman Sri Rajiv Ranjan, the Additional Advocate General Sri Ajit Kumar,the Ex Senior Standing Counsel no 1 Dr S.K.Verma & Senior Standing Counsel no 2 Md Abdul Allam , the Ex Government Pleader Sri Srijit Choudhary , the Ex Asst. Solicitor general Md Mukhtar Khan, Union of India, the GP 1 Mr. K.M.Verma ,GP 2 Mr. Rajiv Ranjan Mishra ,GP 5 Mr. Rajesh Kumar,Standing Counsel No 3 Mr. Abhay Kumar Mishra,Standing Counsel Land Ceiling Mr. Vikash Kishore Prasad and host of others including some of the sitting Justices of this Hon’ble Court has contributed their lot in improving excellence and efforts to maintain strict discipline amongst the member of the Bar association and has been our guiding patron and force.We have number of Senior Advocates on our role.We Would be missing a lot if at this occasion of remembering all, the contribution of Mr.Justice Narendra Nath Tiwari deserves special mention who was founder President of the Bar Association.

The Member’s of the Bar Association are well disciplined and are responsible members having responsibility towards the society in providing Legal help to all the downtrodden people and for this they have Legal Aid committee.The Association has been approached by Celebrities and Scholars to provide awards and scholarship to brilliant Advocates who shall benefit from these schemes.The Executive Committee has also decided to launch Housing and Insurance Schemes for the Lawyer’s which is in the pipeline and shall be launched very soon.
